The CAT5126 is a digital programmable potentiometer.
The wiper position is controlled with a simple 2-wire digital interface. This digital potentiometer is unique in that it has an optional onetime programmable feature that either sets the wiper’s position upon power-on to a user-defined value, or the wiper can be set and the interface also disabled to prevent further adjustment.
