Description TPS562200 and TPS563200 are 2 A and 3 A synchronous step-down (buck) converters in a 6 pin SOT-23 package.
The devices are optimized to run with the fewest external component counts while also achieving low standby current.
These switch mode power supply (SMPS) devices use D-CAP2 mode control, which provides a quick transient response while also supporting low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors including specialized polymer and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors with no extra compensating components. TPS562200 and TPS563200 operate in Advanced Eco-mode, which maintains excellent efficiency even when under light load.
The devices are supplied in a 6-pin 1.6mm x 2.9mm SOT (DDC) package with an operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C.
