November 24, 2023 – China has announced a one-year trial program that will allow citizens of France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia to travel to China without a visa for stays of up to 15 days. 

The trial program is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2023, and will end on November 30, 2024.
